Organic Panic - Medium-Dark Roast

Organic Panic - Medium-Dark Roast

Huehuetenango coffee is grown in the highland regions of northern Guatemala, an area that produces some of the most distinguished Guatemalan coffees. The high altitude and limestone soil, with a relatively high soil pH, contributes to the creamy butterscotch and cashew tasting notes. The coffee growing altitude in Huehuetenango is the highest in the country, inspiring visions of mountainous peaks amongst breathtaking volcanoes. This is an SHB EP grade washed coffee from the Union Cantinil municipality. This area has been producing coffee since the 19th century and there are as many as 76 small producers, with farms averaging 1.5 hectares in size, that contribute to this lot.
